Bought aFe Intake pro5r!

yay i put in a order for an aFe Intake pro5r (oiled) today at **********s!!! like to give out a shout out to James************ for giving me a great deal for the intake and his quick responses to questions! cant wait till it gets here.. ill post some pics of my car after installation of the intake ^_~

edit: you people here @ e90post are evil! all i think about at work is "what should i do to my car''

Congrats! Don't worry if there's irregular throttle response in the way beginning.. after like 100 miles, throttle response will be solid and your car will pull a little better as well!

congrats....and ignore all the negative shit posted on here about this intake....i have had mine on for two weeks....just got back from a 4 hour drive and im loving it even more.....

I have an oiled AFE filter on my 135i. I have recently noticed the first one's ( the proximal one) color has faded to light blue while the rear one is in it's original color or more blue than the proximal one. Did anyone notice that and was wondering what might have caused it?

I would guess that the one in the front is sucking in more air and when it suck more air there are more pollutants like dust and dirt...The one in the back to me would seem like there is not too much air being sucked into the intake track....Again thats my opinion!!

Thanks. But it happened only just after 2 weeks. I don't drive much and not much pollution here around.
