They only charge your card a small deposit until they actually ship the product.

Given the backlog, it will likely be several weeks before you receive the product. They have been saying they were about ready to ship for a couple of months now. But, they changed from the XEDE computer to a new one so that has likely delayed things.

Shiv's group claims to be getting ready to ship 20 per week, but the dyno day guys apparently have first crack at them. I am unsure if they have actually shipped any of the production ones, although there are supposedly about 30 of the beta versions (called XEDE) that will be replaced by the new versions (called PROcede for now).

So, jump on the list and be patient.

Thanks for clearing that up, DrM. I appreciate that

So, for the sake of clarity as I am considering ordering, what exactly does the production kit consist of? I am very interested in the switch or keyfob activator and the simplest removal/application process as possible.

So 3 main questions:

Does the shipping kit come with installation video or very good instructions?

Does the shipping kit come with the in-cabin activator or remote? If not are those included when ready and retrofittable?

Are there other major hardware adds/changes on the horizon that it may be wise to wait for?

I agree with this. I would prefer an option to go from stock to tuned (for when I drop it off at the dealership or with the valet - avoid suspicion).

Kind of like the APR tuned chips....

on the vishnu site whats this COMMING SOON taunt about potential of 380-400 horse power ECU upgrade?

oh and those dyno sheets look decieving, is this because 20-40 horse is lost in the dyno run?

The coming soon is refering to their cat-back exhaust along with secondary cat delete and PROcede.

dyno numbers? you mean the difference between bhp and whp? yes, a dyno only measures power to the wheels... for reference, a stock m3 puts down about 280whp

Well, the first link on their site is to the 360-380HP kit. None of the cars on the forum have made 360-380whp. Even Shiv's car with the custom exhaust put down 355whp and 405 ft/lb. Unless they are talking about power numbers at the crank. But, I doubt that they have really dyno'd an engine out of the car. If they are using a conversion factor to estimate the crank numbers, their estimates seem a little low. 355whp would probably be a bit more than 360-380hp at the engine.

It seems like most of the dyno sheets that I have seen are closer to 330whp.

I am quite curious about the new "kit" as well as if the existing owners can upgrade.

I think Shiv mentioned there were about 20 Beta Xedes installed. These will be replaced with the PROcede. I believe the last couple of Dyno days were PROcede installs. Couldnt tell you an exact number, but I am sure these will sell like hotcakes.
