I need to get mine repaired also. Never let girls drive your car and try to parallel park.

My one was a pothole...and my other was thinking I was sober enough to parallel park one night...learned my lesson the hard way there. Doesn't help either that I have some wheel poke, even with 275width tires on the rear!

Damn Racey that sucks that about your rims. Those are some beauties you got there. I dont feel that bad anymore. I know we are all very careful with our cars and rims but hey, shit happens right. Anyway, the wheel repair company are going to come pick mine up on Monday so like I said, I will be sure to let you guys know how it goes. I really hope they do a good job. I remember how amazing my M6 reps looked when they where brand new tear....

Wow Racey, those look beautiful. How about we try those set on my car?
Instead of the hit show Wife Swap, we can do "wheel swap."

Problem is the hyperblack is a 3-stage paint process, with a black primer coat, the black chrome top coat, and clear coat...probably will be very hard to match on a repair.

HEY GUYS!!! I am fucking excited right now :-) I just got my rims back from the Alloy Wheel Repair and they look AWESOME!!!! Every single rim of mine had pretty bad curb rash and one of them had a bent lip and now, they look brand new fresh out of the box!!!! And you know the M6 reps arent your standerd finish. I would very highly recommend these guys. They came to my house and picked up my wheels and had them back to me in 3 days. I told them that they could probably expect more business from my Bimmer buddies. So, if you need wheel repair I would highly reccomend Alloy Wheel Repair!

Yea, Im not so sure they did a great job on the painting/clear coat though. The wheels came with a bit of a 'rough' feel to them, even though they claimed they put a clearcoat on it, I wasnt so sure, it wasnt smooth like it should have been so I polished them up a bit. And cost a little bit more, but the color match came out great, but I think Im gonna have them re-done next year by the place Sid used. Go with them instead.

The reason I bought more wax was so that I can keep adding wax all summer to them so the brake dust comes off easier. Trust me, they aren't what I approve of.

Honestly, after having my wheels done at Woody's, I came to realize the job was crap. The areas of the wheels they fix, once they get brake dust on em, it never comes off. It's like the paint they use, and/or their failure to finish it properly just sucks in dirt and whatever else. I'd go to the other place mentioned in this thread.

At any rate, I got rid of the 3 a while back and moved into a roomier X5. I just go over curbs now instead of rubbin' em.

I agree with you. I didn't end up getting my wheel fixed at woody's because they wanted to heat the wheel up before straighting it.
