Any ideas ? I'd like to opt out of beta and try previous maps if possible.

did you accidentally. hit the 3.5bar tmap flash option? I've seen that happen several times. what were the codes?

Installed 1.5 yesterday. Burbles sound like gunshots now on the aggressive setting (Catless + resonator with PE). I always set mine to about .3 seconds. I like just having 1 or 2 pops usually. Haven't had a chance to test the Stage2+ map just yet because of rain, but feels good so far just driving around.

Anyone overboosting? I'm about to log later today but my car feels insanely quick on the v1.5 e30 Map, a lot jumpier and much more power especially on a 3rd year pull in comparison to the older map.

I am looking for a little more information on the late E series N55 OTS maps. I looked on the Twisted Tuning site for the N55 MHD user guide. I see the OTS maps explained for the early E series but nothing for the late E series. I assume the pump gas maps are very similar if not the same boost and timing targets. I would like to know what the late E series E30's targets are. Is anyone able to share a log or tell me what the approximate boost and timing target values are?

I noted in most of my new logs (stage 2 95oct), "boost psi" is mostly higher than boost target but car has hardly any timing corrections and pulling great. (will post logs when car adopts.)
comparing this with previous release the car would have overboosted , causing throttle closures and timing corrections.

so I think its a feature in new map. :-)

Yeah it definitely pulls so much harder than before, feels great

Yeah I'm getting some crazy overboosting here causing throttle closures. Minimal timing corrections though. Looks like it's maxing out my turbo every time I mash the gas in 3rd gear.

Stage 2, 93oct, 6MT, v1.50 beta

https://datazap.me/u/richmane/v150-9...8&zoom=464-509

https://datazap.me/u/richmane/v150-9...-38&zoom=37-96

Edit: I should add I found oil in my vacuum lines a few weeks ago and replaced them. Then a few days ago I flashed this beta tune. At the same time, I checked those vacuum lines again (which were dry thankfully) and also sucked out the oil that was pooled in the vacuum reservoir of the valve cover. I can't really say that the tune is the cause of my overboosting, and didn't take a log on the old map after removing that oil. So I have to dig into it more and see. I'll reflash and see if it still happens on the previous map.

I switched to 1.5b this Saturday. It has been driving fine, but today I got a CEL: P112F - Manifold Absolute Pressure to Throttle Angle - Too High (Bank 1).

I do not currently have any logs, but thought I'd pass the information along. I do not know if there is any specific correlation. I cleared the code with Torque and will see if it comes back.

I also saw an active code (but no SES.)
2CF4 - O2 sensor before cat slow response.

And shadow code
2D2F - O2 sensor before cat, multiple fault.

Could be strictly coincidental, but any chance the exhaust burbles could have contributed? First time getting it since owning the car.

the Late E series targets on the E30 are going to be a bit less than the Early E targets. right now there are a handful of people having overboosting issues. so im working through those right now to figure out why

i've had a couple people message me about overboosting on a couple of the map. The Stage 2 map is one. None of these map in the update were overboosting. But i have seen logs as such. loaded up the OTS Stage 2 map this evening....

Below is what i got. Didnt give it a chance to adapt either. So i'm hunting to see whats going on.

Those who may be overboosting, did any of you by chance reset adaptations or anything, or just flash as is. Just curious.

Adjustable idle is working lovely, no more slight bogging as you put throttle in and it dips off and tries to stall itself when cold (6MT).

I'll try and get some pulls in this week and drop logs on here, massively happy with the update, thanks for all the hard work.
Can you please explain the idle adjustment I'm planning on going mhd but my car 6mt has the slight rpm jump and sometimes coming to stop bog down and stalls once in a while

I didn't reset adaptations, only flashed it (Stage 2). I didn't have a chance to log it as my car is sitting in the driveway with a broken chargepipe and MAP sensor... haha

I wonder if the overboosting caused my chargepipe to fly off. Gotta pay to play I guess! I know they are a factory weakpoint though. Probably should have upgraded it before even flashing.

I flashed as is to the e30 map and feel like overboosting, cars super quick on 3rd gear

Wksk helped me do it myself. I later made a write up on what we did. I am not an expert and would recommend sending your DME out unless you absolutely have to.

I didn't reset any adaptations. Just flashed the map and went. I did give it a few days of driving to adapt though.

I can give the E30 tune a shot tomorrow, probably wont be possible to really overboost on that map

I think the reservoir in the valve cover is the only place that vacuum and oil come near eachother. It's easy to check the reservoir by disconnecting the 3 hoses and then do a leak down with a brake-bleeder style vacuum pump. If yours is leaking you may have weak wastegate response and the oil may damage your boost solenoid, wastegate actuator, or vacuum pump.

I only reset throttle adaptations. I am still getting overboost/throttle closures on the revised map in 4th and 5th but haven't been able to log a clean 3rd gear pull.
I did check for codes and found a 2c90 for jammed diverter valve. Could this be the reason? Might have to pull the DV+ out to check..

It's just increasing the base idle speed to a value you select. I've gone with 850 and it seems much happier.

In other news, after two days of driving ended up with some codes on 1.5, see screenshot as I'm on phone.

Screenshot

100% don't have the 3.5 bar sensor ticked.

Also quick 3rd gear pull on Stage 1: https://datazap.me/u/cyruz143/3rd-ge...=0&data=4-5-17
