I think that's a wise choice. You have the car setup as you wanted it and the options are perfect.

I got my car back from the shop! AC works great and the total bill was $2550 for parts, labor, recharge, and tax.

I have only driven it maybe 45 minutes but no unusual squeaks, rattles, etc so far!

I'm gonna drive it a week or so to make sure no rattles/issues develop after the repair and then i gotta order new tires for sure, will probably also order M3 control arms to go with it since you gotta get an alignment then anyways. The outer edge of my tires are completely bald so i could really use the extra bit of negative camber.

I was wondering what the status was. How long are they warrantying the work?
I think it would have been difficult to replace that car as you literally had it exactly the way you wanted it.
Thanks for the update!

I dont think there's any warranty on the work... well I didn't really ask. This is one of the first times in my life ive had a shop repair something on my car so i didnt really even think to do anything besides pick my car up and drive off lol, did i make a mistake?

I don't know if you made a mistake. I don't take mine in for work usually either. I helped a friend take his E39 M5 in for AC work before he sold it. The guy who bought it sent a nasty email after driving it down from MI to FL asking why the AC died on the way home. It wasn't as extensive of a repair as yours but it literally died within a few months - the period of time from when it was repaired to the car being sold.
I don't think it would hurt to call the shop. Tell them thanks for the great work, but IN CASE there's an issue down the line, does the work performed have a warranty.

warranty is probably stated on the bill somewhere.

worry about it if there's a problem, otherwise, it's not worth worrying about. You've already done the deal.

OK so my car has been running great, AC works great, no rattles or anything, i cant even tell the evap core was ever replaced. So I ordered some M3 controls arms. On their way as we speak! Then new tires once they're installed.
