Black/white BMW badges have no place on a BMW! (In my book)

Hopefully see them in the flesh at some point

I like the theme you are going with.... polished rims with polished tips.

I thought they'd look good, i was wrong....

They look awesome!!!

Combine that with a drop and you'll have something very tasty on your hands.

Badges I would say if you do go BMW centre caps go black and white. I used to think they have no place on a BMW but after my refurb I thought I'd try some out and they do look good with darker cars. Just make sure you keep your roundels blue and white!

Love the style of the wheels buddy! It looks like a whole new car in the "after" photos

My only observation is they look very bright on a black car. Still awesome though

Fair enough; I don't dislike them, just don't know if I want some for these wheels.
See you at the next meet I hope Steve

Thanks Greg! I was disappointed until I read your second line
I've spent enough on the car this year, so the drop is next on the list for next year. Looking forward to it already.

Thanks for your advice on the centre caps. I'd definitely keep the car badges blue/white!

Thank you

I struggled with the finish - I found black a tricky colour to get wheels for. I like a contrast with the bodywork, so that pretty much ruled out all dark wheels. I considered dark wheels with polished accents on the face but in the end still wasn't convinced. And I wanted something a little different to just silver painted, so when I found these which have the whole face diamond turned, I thought I'd give them a go.

The photos don't do it justice - in the right light, you get a bit of that rainbow effect you see on CDs or DVDs when you shine them in the light.

Thanks Sean! To be honest, as they are so different to yours in every way possible, I thought you might not like them so I'm pleased you do

Hopefully tints before the end of the year!

Wow, thumbs up dude! Really really smart! Reminds me of the Vossen wheels, but less concavity! Love the new look you must be chuffed?!

New bolts and centre caps on your list??

Thanks Sam, yes I'm very pleased with them indeed, and pleased you like them too!

Yes, I didn't realise how bad my current bolts were, new silver bolts are on the list.

I'm not sure for the centre caps: the OEMS ones in the pics, or standard BMW ones, or black/white BMW ones, or even all black BMW ones - what do you think?

I say do black and white BMW ones.

A very smart looking car indeed. I would be turning my head as far back as possibly if I saw this on the road somewhere!

Thanks for the kind words Sam

I must say I am tempted by the black and white ones, and you're the second person to suggest them!

Blue and white original centres for me.

I went original colour centres with mine as i wanted the wheels to appear that they could have been an optional bmw wheel from factory. Didnt want to draw attention to them if that makes sense

Thanks Steve I like the black'n'silver centre cap very much. It looks spot on on your car with your striking wheel finish but I wonder if it will be too dark on my bright wheel finish?

Thanks Jase, yes that makes complete sense and is usually my standard train of thought too, OEM+ as they say. I'm a bit torn though, the white/blue would go well with my blue brakes, but the white/black would match the paint, so I'm still not yet sure either way...

You picked well matey! Very well! I love the design! Would look fantastic with a BBK behind them

But on a serious note, You could even getaway with some Wheel bolt covers? Do that first and then decide on the centres?

What you certainly do need is a drop! Would transform the car further!

You must be over the moon Seb!
Thanks Josh, I'm really pleased you like them, and yes I am delighted, I'm pleased I managed to find something I like but hadn't seen around before

Good advice re the wheel bolt covers, I'll try to source some online and fit them myself, it'll save a trip to the shop too as I won't need to take the wheels off.

You know my thoughts about the bbk! If I had the funds, it would be fitted already

And as for the drop - couldn't agree more, it's top of my list for next year

I wonder who is to blame for that Sean?!

Hard to stay stock now that I've seen rides such as yours, Sam's, Sumil's and of course Josh's!

I knew I'd never be sure about these until they were fitted, and I'm relieved to say that I'm delighted

All shots from my phone, apologies for quality, I intend to do some proper shots when I get some time.

Here's a before and after:

Attachment 1105794

Henry explained that the suspension will take a few miles to settle as the car was on the ramp, so it should get a little lower.

I'm very happy with how well they show off my painted brakes:

Attachment 1105792

But less happy about the bolts; don't know if they're just proper filthy but they look black! I'll need to get some nice silver ones - one more thing for the list

And that's me done for this year, perhaps with the exception of tints and my number plate if funds allow. The drop will be for early next year. Hope you like them

One last question - should I keep the OEMS centre caps, or replace them with some BMW ones?
Nice wheels and very different to others.
Kudos for trying it!!!

No doubt about it Sean, if I hadn't seen your cars, I'd still be bone stock. It is totally you guys' fault

Thanks Sam! Yes, I wanted something which I hadn't seen before - I wasn't sure how it would turn out but for now I'm very pleased
