Yeah, I have the full disks but I cant get them to work, I am going in tomorrow to have the nav unit software updated.

Naive question: Do we have to use WINMX for these or can we use BitTorrent as an example for downloading? I'm not familiar with WINMX capabilities.

These are .torrent files so use BT.

So I've downloaded and burned a disk. I had a 2009.1 copy in my car before. When I put this new disk in I didn't get the usual message telling me to wait while the system updates. In fact the maps I have look exactly the same as before with the same shortcomings. (newer roads still missing).

BTW I'm in western Canada and disk1 seems to have my maps - I haven't done anything with disk2.

I'm not to sure this update bought me much...

i jus got home from work and am burning disc 1 now, we'll see whats up, idk what exactly they changed from 2009 but i know of a good amount of construction around my area (mass) and will check it out to see if anythings changed

I wondered what new roads were added too. Still good to have the new version I'm sure. Wondering if someone's willing to try and put both torrents on one DL disk, that is if it's possible to do that.

I thought disc 1 was Eastern and Disc 2 was Western. Is that correct?

That is correct for the US. Canada seems to be entirely covered on both discs. Mexico is covered entirely on Disc 2.

I want to download this to run it in my 2007 e92 335i. I live on the east coast and never plan on leaving it so I just need Disk 1 I guess. I see you guys talking about downloading and seeding. I don't know what that means. I don't just download a file and burn it to a writeable dvd?

Please, don't take my response as rude, but this was discussing so many times here - please use "SEARCH".

In short - you downloading ISO image of the disk. And you need software -that take this image and burn DVD for you.

go grab utorrent and then click on DISC 1, it should start downloadling.
