In that pic I see:
1) Front M3 arms 2) Rear M3 arms 3) Front M3 strut brace kit 4) front and rear M3 sway bar kits In this case, I had recommended only 1 and 2 above. The rest frankly can come later - springs and shocks would be what I'd do for step 3. Again, my personal recommendation only. |

If you are referring to the lower camber links (the Aluminum ones that replace the steel doodads on our cars), yes I do have them. Do I think they make a big difference? Not really. It's more about eliminating the rubber lower mount that the non-M rear shocks use, but Turner sells an adapter that allows you to convert to an M-style rear shock without swapping out the whole arm. IMO the weight penalty isn't going to make a huge difference on a street car and you save a bit of coin (and installation time).
I bought the M3 arms as part of a suspension package so I just went with it. Now, if you are talking about both the upper arms and the toe arm - yes those make a huge difference because the bushings are different. I personally went with all Megan (Hardrace) adjustable upper arms as the price wasn't all that higher over M3 non-adjustables and I knew this way my shop could align to my exact specs without compromise. |

335is Mods and Downpipes
Hello everyone, I have had my car about a year now and just upgraded to the 7 inch FMIC and Down-pipes with a Cobb Sate 2+. So far very happy with the performance. The nice turbo spooling sound was a nice plus.
I know this has been discussed before but wanted to get some fresh opinions. I was really hoping it would not make the car to obnoxiously loud as I wanted to retain the most awesome OEM exhaust the 'is' has. It does rasp quite a bit more then I want when holding RPM's the mid 4K range. WOT it just downright screams! I had read some post on the PE exhaust and some members had put vibrant resonators in. But did not read any one the 'is' exhaust. I did visit a muffler shop in Miami (Miami Muffler) hoping they would be able to add some suggestions. I still have my mid-cats on and all I did exhaust wise is change the OEM Down-pipes to the VRSF 7 inch Down-pipes. I just wish I could silence the rasp and quiet it down just a little. They really had no solid suggestions. What have you guys with Down-pipes done? Just get used to it and deal with it? Or switch mid-cats for resonators? Or anything else? Thanks for all reply's as I want to see what others have done and any other options I might have?

Thanks that's exactly the post I read. But for the 'is' exhaust do you add the vibrant resonators or cut the mid-cats out and put the resonators in their place? Not much room to add the resonators with the cats in. What have all the 'is' owners done.
Thanks

I bought the V3 COBB. I installed the map from cobb website for my car. It runs great So what is the difference from the maps from CObb website and the 250$ protunning freaks? My car is stock for now, I run Cobb Stage 1 aggressive on octane 94 thanks Eric |
