Swapping non-sport multifunction into sport and up wheel

Anybody done it? Is it possible?

I don't think your question is clear, are you asking if you can swap a base steering wheel for sport wheel or m3 wheel? If so yes, you just need the new wheel and a new (round) airbag. Installation is pretty simple.


I wanted to do the same but a deal kinda fell on my lap and I ended up buying a rewrapped base steering wheel for $200 and didn't have to buy a new airbag. It looks odd but it's better than stock.

That looks pretty good. I'm switching over to the sport wheel with paddles. I know it possible and that's not the question. I'm asking about the multifunction buttons. I was wondering if the non sport multi function buttons can be transferred over. Pretty sure they can't.

I have a set of multi function buttons for sale off of an e90 sport (round airbag) steering wheel. LMK.
