Hifi Coding for Alpine Retrofit

After having my Alpine retrofit fitted for over a year I finally got it coded, $676 added to Rad2, VO readout confirmed it was there. I don't notice a huge change in audio quality but I'm not sure how dramatic it should be.

Few questions:

- Everyone seems to complain that there PDC gongs become much quieter after coding to Hifi, but mine sound identical?

- Do you need to change the wiring/Amp switch position when coding to Hifi? It was all plugged in as was correct for my Professional HU but not sure if it needs to be changed now? I can't remember what the option was for.

You should have noticed a change in the volume settings.

The switch on amp should be moved to other position, otherwise bass will be weak

My hidden menu looks nothing like that, my head unit is a Pre-LCI.

Not 100% sure what the coding guy did but I'm not sure it's done anything, need to research more.
