I was having problems with a leaky injector and throwing a lot of smoke. After I replaced the injector I'm still throwing a lot of smoke. I'm not getting any codes after changing the injector and am looking for ideas on how to diagnose the problem.

Could be a myriad of things. But the usual culprit is the pcv system not operating correctly. Worst case scenario is the turbo seals are leaking.

Also if you let the car idle and you go behind and smell a strong smell of gas still, then most likely you have more than one injector that is leaking. I found its best to either change the injectors by bank (all of bank 1 or all of bank 2), or just replacing all.

White smoke isn't unburnt fuel from a leaking injector.

White smoke = water vapor.
Black smoke = unburnt fuel
Blue/grey smoke = oil

I agree with Arkie. If you are throwing white smoke then you may have some water in your fuel...bad news for that fuel rail and it will cause injector codes. Might want to get your fuel tested.
