lol...I would need alot more time to understand what to do as for coding...Injectors and battery coding I can handle that from Vasillov's DIY...that seems easy and a walk in the park!

INPA can work with Windows 7 and 64 bit, just have to run in XP compatibility mode...The NCSexpert will NOT work with it at all...
The injectors is what I need lol. Hope it'll help my misfire.

Oh shit really. Okay. When the cable comes I wil call u. I just ordered the cable. Should come next week hopefully

Did the dealer change out your injectors before? You think one of your injector is faulty? Last time it was the sparks or coil pack?

I think my injectors are not coded correctly. Sparks were changed recently. One coil went out and changed it out. Just gonna check that option out first before moving on.

Will check sometime this week. Have not replaced the injector yet. Just tested the connection.

Need to get the numbers off the old injector and see.

Got the cable today and finally got it to work! What a PITA. I even got it working for my 64 bit with a virtual PC and running NCS also...Richurd you want to check out the injectors let me know...First you need to get all the readings of the injectors first or I can see if they are even coded at all like Dzenno with a "?" on it! lol

Guys, lets say that I have a particular cylinder that is a little down on compression and I want to add a little more safety buffer there...I suppose I can artificially code the injectors to show that it does not flow as much as it is calibrated to and then the DME would make that one richer than the other two on that bank.

Issue would be that the other two would be a bit leaner than normal...I can compensate that by targeting overall richer AFRs.

Don't fuck with the injector calibration values. Allow the ECU to make adjustments!

Yeah...probably too not worth messing with it for one cylinder.

But...I do think there may be something said for tweaking them all the same amount to make them flow more to increase the fueling limit. Theory is that you would make the DME think the injectors flow less than they really do and then the DME would increase the IPW of the injectors. That, in combination of the increased fuel pressure we have been using since the beginning may work.

May be an option for folks who don't have a flash.

Sorry for asking. Which cable do you need to use this? I think my #1 injector might be miscoded.

Do a printscreen on the error. Then post it here. It is difficult to diagnose like that!

Will do as soon as i'm done eating now lol, I've just read through this thread and you mentioned to have the piggyback in bypass mode, so i'm going to try that in about 15min or so, put JB4 on Map 0 And try again, and if still Error will do a print screen, Thank's.

Ok, Yup as i thought, that was the problem...Forgot to disable JB4.

Here is a Screenshot from the Injector Readings...

INJECTOR #1 & INJECTOR #2 = Same Energy Calibration Numbers? Is that possible or did the stealership code 'em wrong,
I guess i wont know exactly untill i pull the injectors out;
Just wanted to see if thats possible of having the Same numbers on Energy Calibration but Different numbers on Flow Calibration Values?

Thank's Vasillalov..

I heard that you should be able to read the values with the injectors still in place and the values are able to be seen

All piggies must be set into full bypass mode! All CAN-Clear and CAN-Hijacking must be disabled!

It is fairly common to have 2 injectors with the same values. The only way to verify if they are coded correctly is to look on the actual stampings on your injectors!

Come on man, quit being lazy! Roll up your sleeves and take the engine cover off! No more spoon-feeding for you!

I am shocked that this thread has still not been stickied or at least included in the DIY master list! The mods are obviously sleeping on the job as usual. :
