it matters what type of tint you want, usually it go from 150-500 installed

I met up with Greg today. He got the same tint I'm going to get, which is the F1 Pinnacle at LA Tint. I believe it's $329 dollars with the vinyl over the dot matrix. The pictures don't do it justice, the tint's a lot darker. But then again, we both have black on black cars, so it'll look and seem darker than most cars.

Looks Great ! I went with the same tint (Pinnacle F1) except I went one lower at 30% Love the product, definatley has made the car cooler on the hot east coast summer days.
I need to do the side marker delete as well.

I have black interior with 35% Ceramic (Pinnacle F1). The ceramic tint have a darker shade than metallic tint. Also my black interior makes the tint look darker than it actually is. LA Tint in Sterling, VA did mine. Flawless job ! definitely take my next car there even though I have to drive 90 minutes to get there.

Can you post pictures of yours just to see their consistency in great jobs on e92s? I'm getting mine done over there on Thursday and have black interior on BSM.

Nothing affects nav. I was told you need ceramic for nav but that's bs. I have 35% metallic tint from Ziebart and my nav has zero issues. I do not gave comfort access so can't comment in that. I paid $229. I've used LA Tint and they do good work but they're high and the ceramic is not necessary.

Hello everyone... Another Tint Review.

I went to National Glass Tinting in Kensington, MD last Thursday (9/15/2011). I finally put my windows down for the first time today because I wanted to be safe and be sure that the tints were dry. I have to say I am very pleased with the work that was done. I decided to go to National Glass Tinting after my coworker got his 2010 Volkswagen GTI done there last month (he also owns a Dakar Yellow E36 M3). He had nothing but good things to say about National Glass Tinting. I inspected his GTI closely and was happy with what I saw. I also read reviews on yelp.com and for the most part people were happy with the tint. This place is a one man operation and is run by a guy named Mark. The shop doesn't look like much, but Mark did a great job.

I have put tint off for long enough so I decided to take my car in. I decided to go with 20% because it looks better on a black car. He only uses one type of tint (called Solar or something). The best thing about it is that I only paid $160 for it (that's for a 2 door coupe, larger vehicles cost more). The tint also comes with a Lifetime warranty. I'd also like to mention that all his tints are HAND CUT by him with a Razor Blade. This mean's a perfect cut comes out every time! A lot of shops nowadays like to use Laser Etched machines to cut the tint, and a lot of times the tint doesn't always come out good (too small, too big, etc.).

He started at 10:20am and finished by Noon. As I sit in the waiting room, I look through his photo album called "customers cars" and as I look through I notice a plethora of exotics he has tinted (Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc.).

Even when I scheduled the appointment over the phone, Mark was very helpful and answered all questions. I asked questions about the Dot Matrix and about the "up down" windows when opening and closing the door. So what did I do with the dot matrix? The 1st option was to tint over it and have it look like ass. The 2nd option was to cut the tint and have it sit right below the dot matrix. The 3rd option was to do the 2nd option and then paint the dot matrix with a specialized black spray paint for glass. I decided to go with the 2nd option and have the tint sit right below the dot matrix. The reason I went with this option was because I have a ACS style roof spoiler which covers up a majority of the dot matrix anyway.

Cliff Notes: I recommend National Glass Tinting to anyone who wants to get their car tinted for less than $200 (Will obviously cost more for Sedans)

Nice... i wanted to go 20% but apparently LA Tint only has 35% or 15%. A couple of my friends have got pulled over a lot for 20% in VA so i dont know if i want to risk getting 15%.

Does anyone have a pic of a black e92 with cream int and 35% tint?

I've always been anti-tint, but that BSM M-Sport looks super clean with 35%. I may have to do it before next summer after recently moving to the "south".

I got mine done today from LA TINT in sterling. Does anyone else notice that the black vinyl go farther down than the tint. My line does look very straight were it meets. I may call the tomorrow to ask them to bring the black vinyl down to the defrost line.
