Intercooler front plastic removal

I'm looking to remove the front bracket with the 3 fins in front of the intercooler, can you unbolt it or do you need to cut it? Thanks

Two fins you mean, and no, you can’t remove it, is all one piece with the the radiators support, why would you cut it?

You need to cut it with a dremel if you are installing a stepped intercooler. With a 7.5 VSRF I had to cut the plastic all the way up to almost the bottom of the kidney grills.

It needs to be trimmed. I found that an oscillating saw worked much better than a dremel if you have one around.
