extra oil during track day

Does anyone throw in an extra 1/2 qt or full qt into the motor during track days? I make sure mine is at the max but had someone tell me to throw in a little extra to help reduce oil starvation, thoughts?

I do add a bit extra, lots of corvette guys add half a quart as well(if no dry sump) going to be doing this until i put in the oil pan baffle

Yes add the extra oil. You can run it 1qt over without any issues but you definitely get piece of mind!

I usually burn 1/2qt of oil at a track day anyway so going overfilled is a good idea.
