2006 E90 320D Changeover Valve Seal Kit?
A couple of days ago I noticed warm air coming from the driver's side vent while the passenger side is cool, and I suspect it could be the changeover valve (car is at about 285,000km). I went on a search but couldn't find a seal kit for my particular unit, it seems a bit wasteful to buy a $500 part for the sake of a relatively cheap seal kit. I found the part pricing here:
https://parts.bmwsydney.com.au/p/BMW...126951814.html The changeover valve part number is 64126951814, any ideas on sourcing the seals would be appreciated! Next option could be the wreckers which would be a bit of a gamble, though wreckers here probably don't have much of a selection of BMW's either. |

It seems the changeover valve wasn't the issue, it was low refrigerant. I had it recharged today, I'll see how long it lasts. The guy found signs of a leak at the compressor so we'll see if I need a new one in time.
