I need to go through the suspension components on my 07' 335i and replace them...the car has 100K miles on it, and the front end it sloppy.

I saw that ECT Tuning has this M3 upgrade kit for the 335i.....is there any real benefit from using this kit on a daily driver? And downside? Will it increase front tire wear? Any real downside? It's not much more than stock control arms.

Any info would be great. Thanks!

My uncle did a full M3 suspension conversion on his 335i, he says it's definitely worth it. I think doing just the control arms would not be worth, especially considering how much ecs charges for them. I would go with the full M3 suspension if I were you

At that many miles you want to replace the ARMS and the bushings, FYI.

As for M3, the benefit is from the bushings. More solid bushings give better wheel control on the road. Something liquid filled bushings do not.
One set of M3 front lower control arm will give your more negative camber for front tires, automatically giving better control. You can also buy adjustable links off eBay for cheaper price. But they come with steel nuts that will corrode if you don't paint.

You can also fill OE hollow bushings will polyurethane and rock it like I'm doing. Some use other materials but I prefer more durable stuff like this.

There is a huge benefit of having more camber - steering transforms from dull to eager...
Downside is a little bit of road noise transmitted into a cabin...

I have the full M3 control arm kit from FCP with a lifetime warranty on it for both front & back. My 335i is my DD. It's definitely worth it, especially if you couple it with the Bilstein B12 Kit.

I daily my E90. The M3 front tension struts yielded a significant improvement in handling and feel, but it came at the cost of increased NVH. I didn't use the M3 front wishbones and can still get -0.9° of negative camber with the strut mount pins removed. In hindsight, I should've went with the M3 wishbones as well since they also replace the inboard bushing with a bearing.

I'll be installing rear M3 guide rods soon, which replaces the inboard bushing with a bearing to better resist thrust and braking loads.

I have xDrive so the front tension struts from M3 won't fit, not without some cutting.

I'm wondering if it will work to drain the liquid bushings and fill the cavity with polyurethane.

If you go with Poly bushings either A, the roads you drive on are pristine or B you track the car. Poly bushings really shouldn't be used is a DD.

When I redid all the bushings is the rear subframe, a had conversations with the folks at both ECS Tuning & FCP Euro. They both stated the above in the first paragraph. So, I did M3 control arms, M3 differential bushings & M3 subframe bushings. My car is a DD. Coupled with the Bilstein B12 Kit, the results were outstanding.

I don't think anyone does. They tend to group them though.

Replace whole arms. Bushing replacement on arms is PITA, even with press. Very hard to grab the arm while trying to press out Bushing unless you have adapters made exactly to fit. Not worth the money.
Control arms are designed to deform with curb and road impact. Just replace them. Cheap on eBay and aftermarket

I'm probably going to buy it along with the Sway Bar end links.

Depends where you drive like are the roads curvy or just straight city streets. Is the pavement smooth? How you drive, are you taking it easy or you are aggressive. How long long time you spend driving? The rest of the vehicle setup: tire profile, lowering springs....I think if this is mostly a city car, on streets with potholes and cracks one might find out that isn't worth it after experiencing the harsher ride....
