LED Angels & Early-Build 2007 E92's

Hey All,

Tried a few solutions to upgrade my 2007 E92 AE's to LED. Other than H8 upgrades, both LED kits threw bulb check codes (RD & WeissLicht). The usual research shows a few threads, but no solutions. Various vendors simply told me I'm stuck with H8's while others were unsure (Some now warn of codes prior to April 2007 builds (mine is Oct 2006)).

I switched the resistor tubes (from the RD's to the WeissLicht's) and played with my light switch sequence (e.g., starting with auto instead of off) and reduced the code-throwing though I was unable to eliminate entirely.

I know there are some sweet AE LED upgrades out there; but, I've been unable to find a AE kit that would offer a code-free LED experience (read: guaranteed). Suggestions?

Alright, I just HAD to run downstairs and take a few pictures to show you guys what I've done with my early 07 e92 (09/06) after reading your situation. I had the same problem, couldn't find a clean angel eye kit and with out the error codes! I got my HID kit from Alex@Alpine, and living in So-Cal I was able to meet up with him for the purchase and the install! I purchased 8000k Angel Eyes and 8000k Fogs and yet to have an error code since the date installed back in October 2010. I've driven at night with just my angel eyes and I'll light up the road just fine. Two weeks later I couldn't help but change up my D1S bulbs as well to 6000k because with the angel eye and fog kit the OEM D1S bulbs seemed out of place (had those installed over at LTBMW, I was a bit lazzy to start removing wheels to get in there...thanks guys!). Send him a PM and tell him you have a early 07 build and he'll get the necessary hardware to avoid those error codes (or if your in So-Cal meet up with him). His matte white e90 M3 is to die for!

8000k Angel Eye's/Fog's w/6000k D1S Bulbs (sry guys, their too bright 4 my camera)

I can't be any happier with my Angel Eye, Fog and D1S Bulb setup! I feel bad for people in front of me at times so I go around them because my buddies have told me I blind them LoL! Hope this helps!

We actually just received our newest resistors from City Vision Lighting. We have tested the 6W LED Angel Eyes by City Vision lighting on a few 2007 E92 3 series and can say that they're definitely now error free with the updated resistors. Here are a few pictures of these great angel eyes for you guys to check out as well.

Thanks to all who suggested solutions. Just tried out **********s City Vision kit in my early-build 2007 (Thx, Alan). No bulb check codes so far (4 days out). Above pic very similar to my Black Sapphire E92 (now).
