m3 style hood

Does anyone know where I can find an m3 style hood for my 2006 325i? I don't want carbon fiber, just FRP and I want to hear some opinions on the fitment. I see one on **********s but it only looks to be sold as carbon fiber and has one pretty bad review.
Any options or opinions?

We do have both the Vented Style hood and M3 style hood available for the E90. In terms of fitment, you do have to understand that this is an aftermarket piece and just like ANY other hood, you do have to make the necessary adjustments to get it to fit 100%.

** Please note that the top part of the grill was not installed on the E90 Vented Style hood but it sure does fit **

E90 M3 Style Hood - available in only CF

E90 Vented Style Hood - available in CF or FRP

that hood looks ricer. the "m3" hump looks boxy and doesnt flow with the car at all.. if you cant get a hump just like OEM m3 (smooth) i say dont do it..

check this hood out. BEST m3 hood yet..

Vorsteiner hood gets my vote. Dry Vacuum form carbon fiber and a clean look.

Where do you get a painted m3 style hood like the one in Alan's pic, that's what I want to know.

Vorsteiner would be an option too if I could find who sells the painted version! I could care less about carbon fiber and I really don't like the carbon look.

**********s vented style hood looks a little more raised than the vorsteiner. Is this true?

Alan, do you have any pics of that vented hood in any color, not carbon.

Agreed, doesn't look like m3 due to the boxiness of the hump. If was smoothed out, then be great!

I like this one, how do you get it painted?
Is it carbon fiber and then you just paint over it?
Thanks

These are available in a Single Sided or Double Sided carbon. You can paint all, part or none of the hood

R U serious with the "RICER" comments?
I'm sick and tired about Mtech and Vorsteiner and the rest.... Every modded BMW looks the same. No imagination or originality....

It's either that (if I can find it for the right price) or the m3 style hood from mod bargains. Both would need to be painted but vorsteiner is $400 more expensive

What is and isn't "ricer" is very subjective. Take for example the wheels in your picture...

Look, we drive beemers, not 2004 honda accords. This isn't painting your car lime green or giving it flames. It's just a hood. Sexual appeal, not a compensation for the lack of power.
