2009 E92 Coupe seat belt extender

I am having issues with the seat belt extenders in my 335 coupe. They were both working fine when I left the car at the local BMW shop. And after picking it up I noticed that both stopped working (driver and passenger sides). I originally thought that the tech working on the car had changed a setting, but after calling them they say that there is no way to inactivate their function and consequently something must have gotten damaged. I have no warranty left on my car and the dealership won't assume responsibility because I was late in reporting the issue. Any thoughts? Has anyone had their extenders fail? I guess that I'll have to troubleshoot them myself, any input would be appreciated!

do a search on how to turn them off in the diy section. I dont remember exactly but i know there is a fuse for the extenders. Mine fail to grab my seat belt so i have them deactivated.

If the arms don’t extend at all and did before check the fuse, I believe is #25 in your glove box fuse box.
