Parting out two N54s
I've got two N54s that I am parting out. Complete long blocks, each with about 110k miles on them. I have all parts from top of valve cover to bottom of oil pan. Engine #1 - Original engine from my car. Spun rod bearing #5. All journals look good except #5. Engine wasn't run on the spun bearing for longer than 30s, so damage was limited. Otherwise engine ran great up to that point. Engine #2 - Replacement engine I picked up from a local guy. High leak down on 4 cylinders with air escaping through the intake ports. Suspect it is due to carbon debris making its way onto the valve seats and needs a good carbon blast to solve issue, but don't want to go through the effort of installing if I'm wrong. Please PM me with any requests and I will reply promptly. |
