You can use an AFE dry filter! I believe most members use this one!

What are the benefits of this over an aftermarket afe intake? Is this good for any power and sound ?

I would say a little power on the upper end. Sound.. Er a little bit more than regular airbox but I also have a silicone boot so I'm not hearing just the airbox.

I bought the one that was sold and I got a BMC filter off Amazon for $57..

I think it's a good deal as long as you aren't paying full retail price like ECS.
