Meth on stock DP's

I've been informed that power gains are lost from meth injection in this instance.

I still want to benefit from the protective and cooling aspects of meth, but taking this power issue into consideration.

current mods : JB4, BMS DCI, AR FMIC, Oil catch can

worth the purchase? please chime in!! anyone

You've been misinformed.

I added 50-60WHP just adding meth alone on stock downpipes. (Tuning required of course). With having an FMIC already you should see a good 30-40WHP.

I run this setup at the moment but haven't dyno'd yet. The general consenus seems to be that it is good for 400whp.

Really!

The logic was that the extra air needed somewhere to escape and stock DP's are limiting, creating a risk of increased back pressure on the turbos.

So you saw 50-60 WHP on just tune and FMIC?

This is great knowledge, ive been delaying meth purchase out of confusion on this issue and a refusal to change our beautiful and 'subdued' exhaust tone

Incorrect, I had a intake and tune, and made another 50-60 whp with meth added and tuning.

There is an increase of back pressure yes, but it does not stop the car from making the power.

Intake, Tune, Meth is good for about 400 WHP. With an FMIC you might squeeze a touch more.

Which meth kit would you recommend? I already have an ETS intercooler and Cobb installed(purchased from you) but want to get to 400whp.
