So with the wheel change, i had to do a one more change to change the look a little. I found that wheels changed the look from Sporty (with the M3's) to a little classy now with the X5 wheels.

With that, i contact Jabba from Jabsport, he advised that he had newer types of LED angel eye bulbs which are brighter so i ordered a set. Contacted him on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning i got the tracking number. Thursday morning our office driver comes to me with a parcel. Thanks Jabba, your service is excellent.

Got home yesterday after work and tackled it, took me about 30 minutes, would have been quicker if i had a smaller screwdriver for the passenger side light. Anyways, here are the pics. They look a little yellow in the pics, i was trying different settings on the camera to capture the AE's, all i was getting was a white blur headlights.

The devil is now disguised...

With Headlights on:

8am this morning:

Hope you like!!!

I prefer the wheels as they are! I def need to do the reverse section of my lights, looks so much better completely red!

No. Keep the contrast. It gets too dark looking. Also you will loose the concavity of the wheel, because dark color hides the design of the wheel.

Thanks for the feedback guys, appreciate it. Im still undecided though, while i value your opinions, i like to make the last decision myself. Will see what happens, maybe i wont paint them... Maybe i will.

To me, at the moment, it looks great, its the look i wanted. However, i find that the wheel looks as if its too big for the car. Hence i get the "Yoh, those wheels" response. I would to get that subtle, "oh wow, those wheels" response. And, i think the wheels with a bit of colour will get that. But, im worried im going loose the concave effect with a darker shade. Catch 22 situation!!!

Keep the wheels as is. Invest in lowering the car. This wil tie the car together and take the focus from the wheels towards the complete package.

Edit: The wheels now look a bit like they raised the car towards a x-drive look.

Of course its your decision, but please don't do black or matte black.

Maybe you should keep them silver for awhile and when you get bored ,then paint them to something darker. I found E92 with those same wheels with darker color.

I'd say just make a research for something lighter and sportier: keep the 19" size, but try something forged

Well that looks really good. Little bit darker , but still looking "silver" under different lightning.Kinda like Hyper black.

So, with me being all depressed due to my car not running 100% i decided to give it a little detailing TLC today. She will be going in end of the month to get sorted. Its been a financial down for me these few months. Just too many things happening...

Anyways, after spending a few hours cleaning her i took her out for some pics.

I used my kit recently purchased from Mo @ CrazyRides.
Its an awesome kit, with the essentials to get a good shiny clean. Not just a wash.

I first washed the car, using the Car Shampoo. Then dried it off with the drying towel and detail spray. Then waxed it with the butter wax and finished off the exterior with Smart Wax Rim Wax and some VRT Gel. All of these products smell so good, apart from the fact that they actually work. There's still some swirls that i would love to remove some time.

I then vaccumed the interior and gave the leather seats some Smart Leather cleaner and conditioner... I then buffed it off with some Micro Fibres.

I must say, the simple personal touch just added quality to todays wash.

Pics:
The Adams Kit from Mo.

Dont have pics of the Smart Rim Wax, Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.

"Sparkling" Graphite Metallic

Smooth??

Not bad for 173 000km and 6 years of age...

Ciao...

Hi Guys,

If its not too much of an effort could you spare a like for me?
Link - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

or follow these easy instructions...

1. On Facebook, go to The Drag Society page.
2. Look for the TDS Competition Photo Album.
3. In the Album, find the pic of my car and like it.

Easy as that...

What's it in for me?
Well, a photoshoot and a feature on their website.

What's needed?
The pic with the most amount of likes by the end of August, wins.

Thanks in advance,
Arbee
