jack point
is it safe to use a 1.5 ton jack on the jack point without using josh's block adapter? i dont have any tools to chop up hockey pucks or wood blocks at the moment. just dont want to have the plastic cups explode and crush me. thanks

yes, as long as Josh's adapter fits in the base of your jack.

Some small scraps of 2x4 from Home Depot or Lowes work great if you don't have the tools. I use hard maple blocks in mine only becuase the hard woods will last longer (years) and I have scraps from my wood shop, but my first few jobs on my e46 were done with small pieces of 2x4 in the floor jack. |
