you need 2 x 4L packs for 335D oil change - 7 litres odd for the change, then up to a litre to spare
(i.e. better than buying 2 x L5)

Sorry if I misled anyone - I'll re-check - but I thought the BMW stuff was 5w 30w - and LL04

Just looked at the Castrol site - they recommend EDGE 0W-30 as stated in rusty's post above and link

The BMW Spec was indeed 5w30 a few years ago but they replaced it with the 0w30. That's a great price for the VW 507 oil though if you have any a VAG car. Might order some for the wife's audi. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah but it's still not a LL oil.

You can get same spec in LL certification if you care about it.

Just pointing that's it's not a official LL meeting oil.

EDIT: That 0W-30 is BMW certified my bad I missread

i got some fs oil LL04 for £24 for 8 litres,,was half price..tesco brand ..i forget who makes ir for them though,,oil brand snobs...sssshhhhhh

I wouldn't worry, I posted the incorrect oil link initially and you spotted it quickly which was a great help as I cancelled my order and ordered the correct stuff
