The SA knew about both Cobb and the flash. They brought it up with him and he let them know. Guess it was the first time they had seen it. They probably would have experienced it on Eric's but his car was built a few months early.

lol he is the coolest guy ever! he doesn't mind any flash, as long as car is in with NO DOWNPIPE, and being repair not caused by the tune, he's cool with it.

I meant was your car at the dealer at the same time when I dropped mine off.

He mentioned your car but didn't show it to me or any pics. Just the name drop.

oh, no i dropped off my e70 2 weeks ago, and picked it up last tuesday while dropping off the trims and installed back onto the customer's car. my e90 wasn't at the dealership, it hardly see the dealership now unless if there's something major, otherwise im doing most of the repair/maint at home. if my car is there then i bet Chris would show you, it is hard to miss on the street with too much yellow, hahahahaha. yellow brembo, yellow te37 decals... ghost painted CF CSL trunk, m3 front with cf lip... you'll know it's me if you see that thing on the street, hahahaha

I'm about to enter a similar boat as you. 4 year maint is finally over so I have to decide whether to sticky at the dealer or find a good indy.

I must say some of these dealer perks are useful though, namely the loaners.

to me, this damn n54 is a love/hate motor. i figured i'll just stick with dealer for major repair. ie: i paid for 6 injectors few months ago, and they provide 2 years warranty on that repair. so in case shit happens to my injectors within 2 years, they will warranty it and replace it for free again. not to mention from my record, my first set injectors only last about 2-3 years. and since Bob threw in some discount, might as well just let them do it. i know some indy shop may charge a little cheaper but that's no warranty. so that's the biggest thing on me.

Has anybody tried any of the 2 below shops to get their wheels powder-coated or Reconditioned? Or If you have heard good or bad things about these shops. If yes please share your experience and advise!

Just happened to capture this while driving. Barely got my iPhone out in time...

And here's a not-so-old video. Modest performance. Crazy to think there are n54's that do it 4 seconds less!

Lol I did mine at 50k. Was crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. How's the car running? I'm at 60k now feels good knowing over a 100k still running strong.

just got home and saw your videos, and so coincidence that i was bored after work while going home and shoot a short clip. sorry hand was shaking and throttle was only 75%, it was a 2 lane road so didn't wanna go too crazy.

So got my car back from the dealer today. Problems seem to be solved. Naturally it starts raining just as I go to sit in the freshly washed car.

Chris showed me the car which Eric trim wrapped. Thing looks sick.

I think we should get a group buy going to have Eric wrap our cars.

LOL! if you guys don't mind the wait... average each set of trim takes me around 6 hours to finish.
