Dave texted me to let me know the parts arrived at the shop today.

Dropping my car off on Monday, hopefully done by Wednesday

Oh, and Vince he showed me your old bumper and told me to tell you to come pick it up!

(kidding, he didn't say that)

So today the termite exterminator came over and after he was done I spoke to him for an hour, normally I never do that for any services, but this time it was different. He is a BMW enthusiast and he had a supercharged E30 and an E46 M3 so we talked about the E90 and F10 and eventually the F30. Super cool dude, he had to get rid of them because of kids and the E30 was wrecked and now has a truck and his wife an SUV.

Looking good. Yeah I keep forgetting. Trying to hook up with him on fender roll and will pick it up then.

Saw a white e90 328i I think at Sac State in the parking garage. Had e90post stickers on the back windows. No plates front or back.

Any idea who owns it?

I've never had a freshly painted car before. Are there any special precautions or is there any special care I need to give to the newly painted parts of my car when I get it back next week?

I use a wax based car soap, Meguiars Ultimate, its yellow, smells good too.

http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...mate-wash-wax/

I use a MicroFiber cloth/mitt. and was told to wash with the lines not circular.

@eric uses some good stuff too.

I think I'm gonna give them a call myself, sometime after next week's install. The cool thing is I can make an appointment for them to come up to my job, I can park right outside my office and watch the entire detail while at work. It's convenient for me.

Getting front bumper installed today/tomorrow. Recommendations for front license plate mounts? I told them to leave it off for now, but because I have 40% tint on the fronts, I don't want to give the police a reason to pull me over. Should I offset it?

No license plate!

there is a tow pick license plate you can buy. I got this for mine. I don't even put it on, just leave it in the trunk. "Sorry officer, I took it off because I have 2 stolen already, just forgot to put it back after I parked."

http://www.bimmian.com/Mechunik-Tow-...r-E91-3-Series

great customer service!

oh and with your tint, you already have a reason.

So, finally got a chance to use my BT tool. I'm sure most of these codes are old and not the cause of the CEL. They just need to be cleared. Will have to do a little research now.
