What are you neglecting?
Or better yet, what have you been putting off? We all have one or two things on the list that are just waiting to get done. Maybe your oil pan gasket is bad, maybe it's your VC, maybe both. Heres your chance to get it off your chest, get some reassurance or maybe find out it doesn't need to be done at all!
I'll get it started..... Oil pan gasket VC gasket Oil filter housing gasket I'm waiting to do the oil pan when my w/p goes. Figure I'll do it all at once and since its only really wet and not actually leaking I figure I have some time. I monitor the oil level pretty darn closely so that doesn't scare me. The VC and OFH gasket...well....that's cause I'm a lazy piece of shit |

N54 Oil cooler install...
Maybe water pump. I have 75k miles on original pump... probably should replace it in the next 20k miles but it’s hard to spend the $$ and time on it when it’s working fine as is. |

honestly, unless there is oil pouring out of your engine I don't understand the obsession with the oil pan gasket. I'd guess mine drips about a teaspoon of oil in 5000 miles - big deal.
Otherwise, my shocks are just starting to leak up front - I'll get to that eventually. I just replaced my tires yesterday. There's not much else maintenance wise - I suppose I'll need a new clutch someday, and brakes, but that was recent enough that it will be a while before I need it again. What I've really been putting off is my MILVS installation - I just can't bring myself to pop the cover when it's not leaking. |

IMO - leave it until it fails. It's more likely to last to 100k+ miles than it is to fail at 75k. I just kept one on the shelf so I wouldn't have to wait for parts.

My cup holder went in two weeks ago and still hasn't come out. Super annoying as I baby them and the car only has 30k on it. The passenger one is quite a stretch to get to so I guess I'll have to dig out a DIY (cup holders not covered under warranty, smh).
I was hoping this car would be as reliable as my Z was. Oh well. Other than that? Nothing. Except for a pile of mods I seem to be collecting that I need to install if I ever get the time lol. I suppose I could change the oil.. it's been almost a year now. But the computer still says 7000 miles to go lol. Previously I was always a 3-5k synthetic changer, but I'm trying to trust her. |

Need new rotors and pads soon, but wanting to upgrade them to 4 piston all 4 corners for possibly tracking it (class i'm targeting is only 4 piston). Not sure what to do if I should just do rotors and pads or put the cost towards the upgrade now. Also would like to do something with my boring halogens, but the covers are pretty yellow, so figuring out how to make them all nice and neat, as well as figure out lighting/angel eye solution.

Wrapping my hood and top on my E93. Keep putting off the top as I'll have to buy new roof rails as it seems impossible to remove them without breaking the tabs; this adds $300 to the project cost so I continue to look at scratches.

When the water pump and thermostat are switched out.. do people usually switch out all the cooling system hoses as preventative maintenance? I'm at 122K miles now and I'm just waiting for these parts to fail .

I did buy that aluminum coolant connection replacement piece that goes to the front of the engine block. I'll be waiting till my WP or thermostat craps out and switch at same time (when coolant is drained). |

Observing around the valve cover every week, hoping to see oil leak so I can open it up and do a MILV's job. It's been 30k miles ago the last time I did a valve cover gasket job.

Valve cover has a small leak into the #4 spark plug tube, small leak at the passenger rear corner of the oil pan gasket, and of course the ticking time-bomb of a water pump... 72,500 Miles and counting.
