KW variant 2 coilovers for E93

Guys,

Have KW released the Variant 2 coilovers yet for the 2007 E93 cabriolet?

If so does someone have the part number as I have been unable to find the details on the website?

Anyone have these fitted yet?

HELP!

I have just recieved an email back from KW head office in Germany and had the following response. - this was with respect to part number 15220047

Many thanks for your email and the interest you showed in our products. We still have the convertible for the development in our house. The estimated delivery time is around 2-3 weeks. We don’t expect that the convertible will get the same application as the Coupe.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen/ Best regards

Dave Mehlow

I then had a follow up email just a minute ago saying -

Please believe in us and wait this short time. The convertible is heavier at the rear axle than the coupe model. This is the reason why we make another kit for the convertible.

You are from UK?

I will update as soon as I know the correct part number.

Thanks for the update, phantome46.

Glad I didn't order ahead of time. I rather wait until they come out with the E93 specific application.

One would think that the weight difference would be relevant -- nice that KW is making the effort to get it right.

KW is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Found out that KW has 2 different part number between the E90 and E92 but the kit is exactly the same.

The Convertible kit should fit the same but the rear will sit a little lower. Stiffer rear springs makes sense for the rear but might not be any different like the E46 kit

They've got different part numbers, but they are the same as the E92/E90, you can confirm this with some of the more knowledgable people at KW. Hit me up if you want a great deal on them.
KW's factory in Germany can't seem to churn out enough of these coilovers
