PI will not make that sound, check your PVC valve https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1197666

my car made the same noise at full throttle/high boost and I also have PI. I'd replaced the PVC, actually replaced the whole valve cover and gasket for preventive maintenance, noise is gone now.

What does the noise sound like. On stage 2+ I also had a high pitch noise that kind of sounds like a super charger. I am considering gear whine probably.

Hmmm alright, another thing is if you have an invasive aftermarket catchcan installed like the VTT one for N54. I know if one of the fittings is not tight enough or leaking it might do a high pitch sound under load but it's more like a screech apparently.
