A quick google search of 2 of those codes shows tranny fail safe issues, so what exactly are you expecting the forum to do? We can't fix it for you, and since it doesn't sound like you're a transmission tech, you're on the right track taking it to the dealership.

Wow, you guys are dicks! Maybe you guys are new to forums and Google searching, but yes, often MANY of people's issues can be solved via the forums. I found this thread because I'm getting the same code in my X5M and was hoping to find posted results and MAYBE cross platform fixes before you asses ran this guy off.

Oh, you want some too?!?

Some problems are just too big for small minds to overcome.
Seriously though, some codes and problems are just too complicated to throw a quart of transmission fluid at. Recommend you do the same thing, take it to a dealership and have them diagnose and treat properly.

Yeah the E90 community is pretty shitty tbh.

I agree googling it first and see if the top results help you, but if they don't, people then expect you to search for 10 minutes then stumble onto a thread with 30+ page and they expect you to read through all of it, and then you still have questions and they expect you to ask the question in there but then you will revive a old thread so you will also get shit on for that when you could just do a post within 5 minutes, hang back, wait for the replies, drive traffic to the website and add some activity to the forum.

I think it's because most of the people here are older in age and have more archaic methods that they abide to and get triggered that have ignorance in regards to certain topics and subjects and seem to think that everyone should know that.

/rant haha wooo , this is just in regards to the search argument, not about his specefic transmission issue fyi

Whats the purpose of having 500 threads about the same topic/issue if it was already discussed in another with a solution? Would that only clutter the site even more when doing a search later on?

Definitely true, it is a double edged swordi n that regards But at the same time, more results more things to find to your issue with different varibales.

But my point being is that this is a forum for discussion, not a encyclopedia.

If someone would make a wiki or a database then ok but searching on google or within the forum search for forums posts is really not that great.

You're asking this on the wrong subforum.
