It's not that technical really

Hey guys, the people with the automatic trans 07+ or the 07 un-welded 6 sp., don't be fooled.
The part is $1200 shipped from HP and the labor is minimal compared to some other LSD installs. Thank you BMW for this.
So all in all the whole install will cost you
$1200 LSD
+$600 INSTALL + MISC.
---------
$1800 plus tax!!!!!

Simple as that. The guys with the welded diff, unfortunately there is a lot more invovled from what I've read, but can't give any first hand testimony.

I've been running this setup for nearly a month now and no problems what so ever (whine, noise, grind, etc.). Not to bash anyone here just looking out for felow motorists that don't want to or can't afford the pumpkin switch and all the down time. Group buy any one? lol.

I own a towing and automotive repair facility in SJ. My shop Foreman is a nissan and subaru tuner. Anything from Spec V's to STI's. He's done many a LSD install but as I wrote earlier was surprised by the simplicity of BMW's design. Now again this is for the bolt in LSD not the welded one found in 6 spd.

He also did my Meth kit so if anyone in the area is looking to get one in but don't know where to go, come and see me...... but be aware they are a *%&^* and it won't be free.... lol.

Where is this shop in farmingdale?

Thats interesting because if you buy the diff a shop would need to pull out your housing, install the diff, then make sure the ratio's are correct as well as the backlash, then reinstall it on ur car, which is at least 8+ hours minimum.
