Boot was from an M Sport boot/knob combo, so I think it would work with both E90/E92. I removed the knob by unclipping it from below the knob, then removing the tabs of the boot from inside. I'd think it would work by just folding the tabs inside and fixing whatever knob you have from above. I can take a few more photos of the top and pm them if you'd like.

Back at u.
For retrofitting the paddles this is really simple, you have 2 options (if currently have the ZSP steering wheel installed (round airbag)): 1) Buy zsp wheel w/cutouts, paddles, MF buttons for paddles, go to the dealer for install/coding (check with dealer to see if coding possible at all). 2) Buy zsp wheel w/cutouts, paddles, and a wiring harness. Harness can be either mine ($40) or burger tuning ($175 + $80+ for compatible MF buttons), both work exactly the same way, mine is a bit more involved to install but in the end takes up less space and is 100% reversible to stock with no soldering/splicing required. It snaps in (leaves original wires unmodified) and is made of OEM connectors. Install takes 1.5-2.5 hours, nothing too difficult (I can do it for you for $40 if you come to me), no coding required. Also, by installing with a harness, you're able to set up the paddles to shift however you prefer, most don't like the factory setup of pull-upshift, push-downshift.
