Vinyl trim
So I'm down here in South Carolina for school and posted in that regional forum to find some help with wrapping window trim as well as interior trim. No luck
Personally I don't have the patience for vinyl and just want a solid job done. I'll be home in the next few weeks for spring break and was wondering if anyone could help a dude out. I have the materials for the interior and still can't decide between matte or gloss for my window trim. Space grey is the color of my car. Any suggestions? If anyone is good with vinyl and can help out itd be greatly appreciated Nick |

Definitely go with matte black. The gloss black has to be perfect or it will show every wrinkle and flaw. I peeled my gloss trim off after a couple of days. The interior trim is pretty easy to do. I used the 3M DiNoc Carbon Fiber vinyl. It came out pretty good and I have little patience. I surprised myself.

I like gloss black. That's my car. My guy who did it also lives in Danville, VA. If you are looking to have it done, you can contact him. |

Matte Black... matches the mirror housing better. I did the window trim on my roommates Audi S4 2 weeks ago and it came out great. Edges look perfect.
Had I known I had the skills I would of done my own car instead of paying someone else to do it. If I can do my roommates S4, I'm pretty sure I can do any car.

I'd definitely go with Matte Black. I'm looking to get my window trim on my SGM e92 wrapped too, and have been looking for a local installer that can help me out. I am even thinking of plastidipping it, but I just know that the vinyl will come out much smoother.
