SS headers and AA axel back exhaust

Hey so I currently have SS headers and I think the stock exhaust is starting to rattle. This is a daily and I'm not really trying to spend a bunch or be overly loud.
Looking at the AA rear muffler it looks like it would be quite loud, anyone have any experience?
current setup: SS headers->stock secondaries->Stock resonator->Stock muffler
Any suggestions maybe for a deeper sound? Maybe 135i muffler?
Or ignore muffler rattle and just get MILVS

We all drive E90s - so no experience with the 135i Muffler. But it being OEM, I can't imagine that it will flow well, or be much louder.
I would see where the rattle is coming from, tighten it and install MILVS, and be done with it. Exhaust is really for those who can tolerate the noise and want the extra power.

Someone else complained about their stock exhaust rattling after doing headers. Can you post a video or sound clip?

I would always choose performance over looks/sound so price not being a factor I would go with MILVs.

I would expect the 135i muffler to be louder.
My speculation is based off me having 335i mufflers. I have baffles in mine though. Significant noise reduction.

Yeah I can try, its pretty subtle but when you can hear it bouncing off the median or other car next to you it really annoys my OCD. I had this same thing happen in my 335i it was the flap inside of the exhaust that created back pressure and or opened but I don't think the 128i has that. Don't get me wrong im sure there is power to be made if I removed some of the exhaust and I do love sound. I really wish there were just more options. All I can really find is AA exhaust, SS exhaust(too expensive), Magnaflow (Id love to hear this on a car with headers), PE would be way too loud but maybe I am wrong I really need to just hear it.

I have an E91 with AA Gen2 axel back/custom mid pipe and resonator/ secondary cat delete. I am very happy with the AA Gen2 axel back. Good flow and small muffler/chamber to reduce drone. Sound is perfect.

I will Be switching to the full AA set up soon, as I have AA catless ceramic coated headers to install.

I have had a rattle, it was caused by a mount for the exhaust, it basically holds the exhaust on the auto transmission, one bolt was gone.
Aa muffler is good, it will be loud with headers but they say it will not drone because it has a helmholtz chamber at 90 degrees before the muffler. There is a thread here recent, where someone put it on a 330i with aa headers, he was satisfied

Edit : http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1475090&page=6 the thread with aa muffler + headers

I have rattle too because of the bracket on the OEM secondaries have a torx bolt I can't get off so I have quite a bit of rattling sometimes due to the headers. It's causing the exhaust tips to brush up against the diffuser sometimes. I keep telling myself to order a new bracket but I just don't lol

Edit: because I installed a full Eisenmann exhaust so I have no secondaries.
