i just seen these on sale over here in the UK...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-CRUIZE-134-...item518d6d39eb

9 J X 20" 5X120 ET40 FRONTS
10 J X 20" 5X120 ET40 FRONTS

The tyre size they provide are
235/30/20 AND 255/30/20

would these be ok for an E90 and are the offsets fine?
i would have thought the rear tyres would be more likley to be 265/25/20??

any comments?

20" look cool and I can understand the attraction. However they are not practical, so the car is going to ride roughly, the tyres might rub sometimes, and you will probably bend a rim sooner or later. I suggest if you buy 20" you should keep the stock wheels so you can drive the car in normal situations.

ET40 9" is going to be very close to the strut side, depending on the actual wheel. ET40 would be ok with an 8.5" wheel, but I think the ideal is probably ET35 to ET37 front offset. I have read that people with 245/30/20 fronts say they rub at full steering lock, so maybe 235 is better depending on how far you drop it. I think a lot of people don't like to give advice about 20" rims because there are very often going to be issues.

The CF1 is essentially a BBS CH with a lip. If you like that style, we can help you with the CHs.

20s are too big. I hate the idea of a 20" wheel. 19"s are pushing it.
Low on wide 18s if the way to go.
