This one time, i had a $2500 used 1985 Toyota Supra that gave me less problems than a $65k BMW M3. Ergo, BMWs are NOT worth the extra money.

Well thank god I can't appreciate the subtle differences in home appliances because I already spend enough money on my cars, don't need to start swapping out refrigerators every couple years also.

I would hope that no one is buying a modern non M BMW for-

1) Reliability
2) Long Term Ownership
3) Value

Just my thoughts... if you like the car, and value a part luxury / sporty car, its a solid option, otherwise look elsewhere... albeit you may be disappointed there as well...

I thought this WAS the sarcasm font. Is there a non-sarcasm one? Haven't really had need for it, but good info to have just in case.

We needed a fridge, bought their top recommendation; the next thing I see in a subsequent issue is "our test methods have changed, the one we called great is now crap." Lesson having been learned, I started scrutinzing their test methodologies. I found a lot of stuff I didn't agree with. I dropped the subscription and have not looked back.

hahahahahaha we bought their top pick when we wanted a new vacuum cleaner, it broke in the first 30 days. This was like 2008, and only then, did it dawn on me that they can't possibly be reliable as their sample is too small.

I'm pretty sure they are the only rag that slammed the new GTI when it came out.

If you want biased unscientific lists, they are the ones to go to.

However, I was pleased, that the Bosch lead acid battery I got for my wife's car was rated #2. It had a $30 rebate or 15% off. I did a "AND."

Got the $30 rebate, 15% off, AND another $10 credit at the three stooges. By the time I was done the battery was about $115 (that's cheap?). The #1 was an Interstate AGM costing $300. I'll take #2

Bluster is a US Company, the 36" is their only fridge, similar price to SZ, but appear to have way better specs. I have a SZ kitchen (mostly - Freezer drawers; beverage fridge and 36 inch side by side fridge). Recently had issues with the ice maker repaired under warranty. For my range I decided to step away from SZ/Wolf and installed a Capital Culinarian, probably one of the best ranges available:http://www.capital-culinarian.com
WOw. I dig both companies. Impressive stuff they offer.

I'm curious, what is the BTU output on that range?

ha! we have almost the exact same fridge. Except mine is the single shelf freezer drawer.

The only issue I've had is the touchscreen power freeze button. You know how you have to hold it down to activate power freeze, it won't detect my finger press. It reads it as a single press instead. Frustrating, luckily, I don't toggle power freeze often.

I got mine for free, so can't complain much.

Also with the newest quad-door sedan units...they are horribly designed. The coupe is much more effective. IMO, the 3-door hatchback takes alway a lot of fridge space. And I don't need a LCD screen on my door.

We have had it over a 1.5yrs and it is superb. It is quiet, ultra efficient, super roomy, and great looking! Manufacturers warranty is outstanding. I have owned multiple Samsung products from phones, TV's, Washer and Dryers and they make a solid and visually appealing product/appliance, period.
It listed for $4k and I got it for just over $3k.

FYI they have an amazing new "Smart Model" that let's you look inside from your phone and the front door has a giant LCD with all sorts of nifty info:

Well if you happened to find an unlucky one stranded in cold in Russia.....tell her to stay outside till your drink is cold....now that's high end service.

My wife almost broke up with me while we were dating when she found out the right front burner was only 16,000 and the others were only 10,000. She said my simmer burner was too small.

My mom's stove has 36,000 BTU's of glory, 6 burners, plus a griddle and dual ovens.
