Unless it's fake, but doesn't sound like it's turbo, so definitely a 125/128 or 130i. 328i PE mod sounds shitty compared to the stock 135i muffler. Even the people that put stock 335i mufflers on their 328i, it sounds similar to this one. Mine is obviously louder with PE mod on 335i muffler

As to this, not the same...
That 328i from 2nd video sounds like shit comparing to 128i with 135 muffler.

That's what I'm saying. 135i with a res delete on 328i would sound sick. Cheaper PE exhaust

the mod was literally just done.. the ECU which was tuned to the stock exhaust system and now learning the changed muffler. 500KM later it will sound much better then that.

either the 135i muffler or PE mod works for a high flow exhaust. borla has a good muffler as well.

dont delete your resonator, delete your secondary cats. the resonator is very well designed and creates a type of backpressure thats good for your engine getting rid of unwanted drone and frequencies while having no effect on power gains. TheAxiom- mentioned in a post you lose 2-4 ft/lb of torque unless you fit an x-pipe(which makes the car sound and flow better) but, you cannot fit an x pipe on n52 style exhaust system. the secondary cats are absolutely useless unless you are running catless headers. removing is what you want when chasing the pe style exhaust.

The 328i pe mod still sounds horrible. When I got mine done on 335i mufflers it sounds the same to this day since day 1, that one will never sound good. I do have have x pipe just like the e92 335i, same setup. If there is a minimal torque loss, its on low end and its not noticable, power still stays the same, in fact, my car sounds like beast and I always get compliments everywhere of how it sounds. For a 135i muffler you will obviously need a y pipe, same concept. Every bmw performance exhaust comes with a resonator delete, much better for the sound. Secondary cats, yes, I would delete that as well too, highly recommend it, my car is already loud enough tho

Keep it stock. Or get a real mod like headers if you want some sound and power gain specially on a 328.

Nothing worst than having a 328i that sounds like a fast car and its not faster than a civic si.

AA headers , 3 stage intake, bpc or aa tune , k and n filter with charcol delete or sometype of intake to make more sound and you are set. Then go ahead with a pe mod or whatever exhaust you want. You ll be pushing 230- 240 hp at the wheels which is close to 280-300 crank hp. Get some light wheels and its a whole different car. Telling you from experience

On a 335 is a different story .

Well 335i pe exhaust or pe mod sounds similar to 328i OEM performamce exhaust, just deeper. It's like saying don't put oem328i performamce exhaust on the car because it sounds fast. Car doesn't need to be fast to sound good. Not everybody races their 335i as well, some people just wanna cruise

agree, but there is nothing wrong with simply opening your exhaust system and letting it flow especially if you are stuck with the primary cats and cannot get headers. the power gains arent huge, but hearing the exhaust flow helped throttle response alot and transforms the whole driving experience. the 328i is very quiet stock and yes while its not fast, that doesn't mean you shouldn't have no exhaust sound at all. whatever i've done to my exhaust isnt loud, and it does not sound rice. sounds exactly how you'd expect a BMW with basic performance credentials to sound from the factory.

but yes, I 100% agree with you that catless headers are obviously a much more meaningful gains. but obviously not everyone can get them due to emissions. I had to settle with the a high flow catback because my ECU is not tuneable - i'd rather tune my ecu if i got catless headers not run as-is.

Ah yes, the old blowing a stop sign video. Good stuff, glad you haven't deleted this gem.

Would you say you were still 17 at this point? If I were you, that's the angle I'd work.

I suspect you may have missed the point of the post.

not sure if its ignorance or simply hatred for the fact our opinions conflict each other. I'm trying to be a man about this yet you still choose to act like a child.

my age doesnt really have anything to do with this if I am clearly being more mature then you. why don't you worry about yourself now instead? it's about time.

see? we can try and settle our differences by acting like men. isnt that amazing tlow? yet you still choose to be immature and insult me.

grow up.

That's why I'm looking for OEM BMW PE only which sound perfect and only loud, sporty while accelerating. That's the best sound for 328 daily drive car.

Please be safe in what you do.
I have fun with my car on public roads.
But please be cautious of where you are.
That's all I gotta say about that.

It was a dead-empty residential side street during the day. I wasnt even the one driving, it was me filming... wasnt too happy with my friend cutting the stop sign like that but at the end of the day, the street was completely silent.

What do you think of a resonator delete? Is it worth it if I install an X-pipe in place? any drone, power increase, nice sounds?
Do you know the Part No of the magnaflow exhaust?
