You guys bitching about your 335s.. I just don't get it man... you have your problems with any car.

You think you're safe with a 328? Just wait till your waterpump goes out of warranty, or your VANOS, or if you have X-drive your transfer box takes a shit.

All cars have problems son- you just happen to hear about them more when people post on a forum like this. You seem very bitter about your 335, and quite frankly, I understand where you're coming from due to your experience.

But I assure you, there are just as many 335's out there running strong and putting smiles on peoples faces every time they press down on their accelerators than not.

I'll take three good years in my 335 m-sport convertible now than 10 "good" years in my 328 x drive coupe that I had prior to it all day long.

Sorry to hear about your vehicles problems...

Both of my 335xi's were very reliable and had practically no issues. Sold one with 60k miles and the other with over 80k...

I love this car... When it is not in the shop. I am going to trade it in when ever I get it back. I'm going to check out the dealerships to see what catches my eye. I'm very disappointed in this experience. I know all cars have their problems but this model in particular is over kill. I know some people don't have any problems but just the sheer volume of known problems is unbelievable. Watch when I get my car back the low battery problem happens to me like the others who got their cars back from the wire recall. I'm about to buy a everyday car as well as a weekend car just so I have a go to vehicle like a Toyota or a Subaru.

Hey OP, I had some initial sympathy after reading your original post as I've had a bad experience with my previous 335...but then you went and opened your mouth. Especially that retarded bit about older people driving good cars. For some of us it's a teenager or a 20-something driving an expensive car that looks abnormal and reeks of entitlement. An older person driving a nice car usually conveys a successful life and having earned the right to indulge in the niceties that he/she now has.

I love my BMWs, but my dream car is the Porsche 911 and I could very well have bought a very lightly used one instead of the 335is. The reason I did not is because I feel like I have not yet done anything to deserve that 911, and buying it just because I can afford to is not going to provide the same satisfaction as having earned the right to realize it. So for some of us an older gentleman driving a nice car actually speaks a lot more than a young person fooling around in something that they clearly have not earned.
