K So I Woke up this morning to a freaking boulder thrown through my windsheld :-( I'm pretty devistated. I think my insurance should cover it however i don't know where i should take the car. Can anyone reccomend someplace close to me? Pref southwest orange county. I'd also like to get the front lip and some scartches fixed.

Ok, perhaps i was over.exaggerating a little. . . Not a boulder but a rock the size of a damn Honey Dew Mellon. . . Bad enough though. My Windsheld is ruined.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to see if Sterling's autobody will help me out. I'll post pictures soon.

I'd like to find a place that will fix everything while they're at it and charge it all to my insurance. They're paying for it anyways so i'd like to get all the damage on my car taken care of. . . .

Definately not an act of nature. I'm thinking personal vendetta for sure. But it could've just been some stupid kid with a rock and nothing better to do. Thanks

I highly recommend Spectrum Collision in Irvine. They did an excellent job on my E46 when someone rear-ended me few years ago.

Spectrum Collison
20 McLaren, Irvine CA 92618
(949) 597-8200
www.spectrumcollision.com

Ask for Christopher Turpin

It is one of the few Certified Collision Repair Centers for BMW in S. CA. I heard the owner also owns Shelly BMW and Irvine BMW.

My car was there few years ago and their facility is top-notch. However, expect to wait longer than other shops (they are always BUSY).

Ouch! That sucks that someone would do that! Good luck with repairs.

As for your carbon fiber lip, you're going to need a new one. No normal body shop can repair carbon fiber.

yeah +1 for spectrum.... however.... before you go there go to Darrel (he's right across the street in the opposite plaza) and see if he can take care of it. He's upfront and honest... tell him Mo sent ya (the one with the painted tail lights on the black bimmer).

Also try Insurance Collision Centers in Santa Ana. They are the official repair shop for Crevier.

I have also taken my Audi A4 there for collision repairs and it comes out BETTER than new.

If I'm not mistaken, Lambo of OC also uses them.

SPECTRUM COLLISION CENTER, in Irvine.....its one of the only 5 certified BMW repair centers in the country, and their work is OEM. You see all these Bentleys, mercedes, bmws, and audis parked inside their all the time, very very nice place. A bit pricey but there work will not let you down, i garuntee that. They work quickly too, you wont be put on hold.
