Kudos to you for fronting the expense to repair. How much was the repair cost? 6k-7k? I'm only assuming since the repair cost had to be more than 70-75% value of the car, and insurance usually use automatic cars as comps.

Unfortunately you're going to take a bath on the value now that it's salvage. Only an enthusiast would go for it. 10k~ is an optimistic price imo.

I have no skin in the game but your car has been on the market for 6 months. IMHO as it sits, it's a $5k car to someone local.

Pictures sell cars and so do well written descriptions. BaT has a great template on how to take photos.

Still waiting for all the documents from insurance company. Planning to pick up vehicle by the end of the week.
Yes car was posted for over 6 months, but I wasn't in a rush to sell it for small amount of money.
I'm posting car still here because maybe somebody want to make some project car. ( e91 6mt ).
I'm not planning to fix the roof and selling the car as it is.
If nobody shows up by the end of the week I will part out the vehicle. Vehicle is located in North New Jersey.
Any local wagon enthusiast might stop by to see car.
Best reasonable offer will get the car.

Unfortunately, salvage title cuts the value in half or worse, as I discovered when trying to sell my 325Ci convertible last year, and that's once everything is fixed.
For someone like me, who doesn't care about a few dents in the roof, and is willing to put in the time to swap out the sunroof, it's a good buy at the 5k ubersteuer mentioned. Maybe a bit more even. I'd jump at it, if it was xDrive and had sport seats in that pretty color.

5k is not bad considering there is another LCI E91, 6MT for sale on the east coast, with damage already repaired. Tan interior though. Considered picking up as a parts car, or beater once I unload 1 more car I own.

Just didn't want to deal with swapping interior or it may have already been in my possession, with the potential of my wife killing me in my sleep 😂...

You might as well start looking at manual AWDs as they are cheaper, and then just turn off xDrive and be RWD
