Ticking sound coming from my HPFP? (video)

I did a big overhaul over winter, replaced turbos, injectors, oil pan/gaskets, main seal, plugs/wires chargepipe/TS diverter valves etc. etc. and my single barrel shotgun. Everything was fine for 750+ miles but now i get this noise on a cold start up only. Lasts for about 30 seconds until the engine idles back down. My HPFP has about 10k on it and it shouldn't be acting up already. The noise sounds like its coming from the HPFP/shotgun pulley area ish. Any idea what it could be?

The noise magically disappears at 42 seconds into the video

Turned out to be my HPFP. Replaced it and good as new! I only had 5,000 miles on it but it was a remanufatured one from FCP Euro. Replaced it for free under warranty.

Did the noise increase when giving it gas?

I have the same issue. The noise disappears when the cold start sequence is over and the rail pressure drops from 2200 psi to 700psi. I watched it with MHD monitor. Noise went away when pressure dropped.

My understanding is the majority of ticking from the driver's side is the fuel vapor vent valve

I've found the same thing to be true, but this is a different sound. When my vent valve ticks, it doesn't seem to be in sync with the RPM's and it's more of a clicking sound.

Is there a way to get rid of the vent valve tick?

It's particularly annoying on a cold day,

I guess I assumed replacing it would take care of it. It hasn't been enough of an annoyance for me to look into it too much.

Can't stand it to be honest, might try and replace it, but I have a feeling it's just a temp fix and will come back.
