Lower and Upper Mesh Grill
Hey guys,
does someone know how to get rid of those fugly mesh grills? do i have to uninstall the bumper for the lower ones and what do i have to do for the upper ones? maybe someone already encountered those |

did these come with your car? if u plan on selling them ill take it
oh and from what i saw on ebay...they seem like they are clip on of some sort? like they go over the actual grill. |

Well The kidney grills you just pull out. I'm guessing you do the same with the rest.

so, to keep you guys updated, i removed the kidney grills.
but what i found was not that pleasant idk why someone would do sth like that, maybe as a cheap alternative will def have to order the total blacked out grills now.. |

maybe I'm odd but I think that done right the mesh look could be nice. esp. since it would tie the whole front together with a consistent grille look not half slats and half fake plastic mesh.
But I agree, that was a hack job, and the shiny chrome is too much. Hopefully the stock pieces won't set you back too much? You can probably get the kidneys used from someone who did a blackout, not sure about the lowers. |

Yeah but I don't think you could fix those exact pieces to look good, easier to start from scratch with some bulk mesh and a welder.

the lower grills snap in from the back, so yes you usually have to take the bumper off to get them off. Not sure how the after market piece fits onto the stock one though. Probably bolts on like the uppers
