Should i go with the Eiback pro-kit or the Eibach sportline to best fit my OEM sport shocks?

Im rolling 235/35/19" front 285/30/19" in the back.

I want to go low but dont want rubbing even when there 2 people sitting in the back.

I have e90 320i and use prokit... it is good enough for me (not too low). Since I use 20" wheel, it rubs sometimes when i go over a bump.....

I'm looking to lower my E90 sedan by changing the springs only, so very direct questions:

which of the following can anyone recommend best for a sedan?

1.35" / 0.8" --> H&R Sport Springs (part # 29187-1) (** Europe-Part# ** this is aparently the same spring as the 50490 but with different lowering listings for some reason.)
1.57" / 1.3" --> Hamann Progressive Springs (part #20 090 120)
1.8" / 0.8" --> H&R Race Springs (part # 29183-1) (** Europe only **)
2.0" / 1.4" --> Eibach Sportline (part # 4.0285)

I'm leaning towards the Eibach SPortLine - has anyone used this and able to recommend?

I'm rolling on Stock 17" 225/40.

Looking for more aggressive look, and better handling all round. Don't want to compromise too much on comfort.

Eibach SPortline seem to be the Lowest available? 2" is that more than 20mm drop??

eibach will give you the most comfort. With the sportline its only the question if the stock springs will hold

I would also like to know how the ride quality is with eibach pro-kit and OEM sport shocks on. I've heard from a few people with pro-kits is that its very comfortable and not that bouncy. Can some of u guys who do have the pro-kit/OEM sport shocks chime in and let us know how the ride quality is?

Well i just orderd the pro-kit to be safe.

I think the pro-kit would be the safest choice to go with your sport shocks. I have pro-kit on my non-sport shocks and the comfort level is mostly maintained.

Like Don said, if you're looking to run them on stock shocks, then go with the pro-kit. However, I would highly recommend swapping out both springs and shocks at the same time.

You mean also buying new shocks?? I know it's better to go with koni's but if my m-sport shocks break i can still go with koni's

Yes sir. Yeah you can run stock shocks and swap them out later. You dont have to swap out both- it's just recommended so you dont pay for installation twice.

You are running 285 rear, et? on ?" rim

On my E90 I’m running Michelin PS2 235/35/19 on 8½” et 35 in the front and 275/30/19 on 9½” et 33 rear with no rubbing whatsoever. At the moment the car is dropped on Eibach pro set. I was running H&R until Sunday last week also without rubbing. By the way, it’s not true when H&R claims to drop the car only 1,3”, the true is close to 2”, that’s one of the reasons I changed to Eibach. The other reason are that the H&R are too harsh for Danish roads (we have a lot of bumps made in the cities to prevent speeding).

I'm running on Eibach pro kit with stock non sport shocks for quite sometime. No problem with it and comfortable too. Planning to change the shocks to Koni FSD soon. Heard a lot of good comments with the Eibach Pro Kit combo with Koni FSD.

I have Bilstein B8 sprint shoks on mine and it works fine with the Eibachs. I can also recommend H&R sway bars, it's a great upgrade for the E90

with stock shocks go with the pro kit... if you go with sportlines with ur stock shocks, the shocks will wear down quickly and the ride will be very bouncy and your wheels will rub due to the amount of bounce.... if you want to put sportlines, buy koni shocks

does this also count with the m-sport shocks?

A friend of mine installed the sportline today on his vw golf 4 v5 with stock shocks and it didn't look that low or bumpy?

Do you think that he also will have problems with the stock shock?

And how much lower will i go with m-sport shocks and the pro-kit?

Installation cost for KW is about $300-400 or so.

there are springs (Ei Bach)(H&R) that look like springs...and there are dampers that slow down the rebound and compression...just incase ppl start getting confused
