My car works great with my Nokia 9500. When my phone is connected it even shows a little blue car icon that indicates it is connected to my blue 335i. I thought that was particularly cute. I just wonder whether it would be a different color icon for a different color car...

From what I'm reading here, it looks like the Verizon RAZR V3m is fully compatible (assuming latest software in phone). I should be able to get this phone basically free next month and would like to upgrade.

Can anyone verify or deny that the VERIZON RAZR V3m is okie-dokie and downloads the phonebook, etc.?

Thanks in advance.

Question Nokia N95 comparable to BMW Bluetooth?

Anyone here has a Nokia N95? Is it comparable to BMW Bluetooth?

Lightbulb OBEX???

From what I understand, all the bluetooth functions depend on what OBEX are enabled on your phone. Does anyone know which ones BMW uses? If so, you can just check your owners manual and find out whether or not your phone is fully compatible or not.

Too lazy to read.

I have a Sony-Ericsson W600 that works with my 3er. It has on occasion decided that all calls should still be answered by the phone instead of the stereo. Not perfect, but more often than not it works as intended. The address book feature works well and is always up to date.

I would like to know as well. This phone is complementary for those of us without navigation.

BTW my Sony W800i works well with the e90. Someone should keep the front page up to date.

I just picked one up yesterday at the Nokia store here in Chicago. Although it is a fantastic phone (GPS, Wi-Fi, quad-band), it doesn't support 3G data in the US and (drum roll)... it cannot connect to my 330i via Bluetooth. It pairs, but it doesn't connect. My Sony Ericsson K790a works like a charm, so back to the shop the N95 goes.

Please tell us more? What build date is your car? Has it had a recent software update? When you say "it seems to work fine," do you mean making calls, receiving calls, phonebook contacts transfer to your car...?

Thanks in advance...

Anyone have a Samsung A930 (Verizon)? I'm having the no phonebook issue. I've searched and can't find it referenced here anywhere. BMW's site doesn't list it. It does list the RAZR, so I wonder if the KRZR works

Can make calls, receive calls and contact list transfer. Car build date I believe is December 2006. How do I check software version?

I had the N90 it paired up okay, but doesnt load the address book in or anything like that.

Also it was a little touch and go when making and answering calls.

If you are with Verizon, check out this link it may help you: Samsung does not appear on the list for BMW.

http://support.vzw.com/pdf/Samsung_carkit_SCH-a930.pdf

Here is the list of Verizon phones, scroll down click on your phone and it opens the pdf file then look to see if BMW is listed on the list. I have a LG8600 phone it's listed compatible for BMW 3 series 2005-2006, so I am hoping it will work in my new 2007 coupe.

I've been fighting with my Samsung Blackjack since I got my 335i coupe earlier this week, and they seem to recognize each other and pair, but still won't function. I've searched the archives and can't find an answer, and the dealer basically says it's not on their list of compatible phones.

I would probably go ahead and replace it if I could find a phone that is fully compatible (including address book) that had the following: Windows Mobile, 3G internet, GSM, and a full QWERTY keypad. Any suggestions?
