Yuck...
...just got round to cleaning up the pots & pans from tea and emptied the remaining broccoli from the steamer to find two steamed catapillers .
Now, I mean, I know they can't harm me when eaten but has turned my stomach somewhat (and that takes a lot). Bought from a little Co-op this afternoon, cut and washed by me, the little critters must have been well tucked up within each floret. Does pose the question, if there were two on the last remaining piece of brocolli, how many were there on the other 10-or-so that got eaten. Feel like I've just done a bush-tucker trial. At least you guys will know that if I never post again after tonight I've died of a rare disease only carried by small green steamed catapillers .

Yeah OK, realise I didn't check the spelling, I'm fatigued . Couldn't decide on brocolli either so took two different attempts at that . This image isn't helping my stomach at all .

Look at it this way. Any caterpillers you may have ingested will have more nutritional value than the broccoli. You should have ate the other 2 as well and not shared them with the rest of the family, yum!
