Dealer says no codes

So my car throws me into limp mode and also gives DCT error. Check engine light comes on.
I plug into the ODB and read the codes with INPA.

Three specific codes. One for DME. one for DSC, and one for EGS

I head to the Dealer as I'm under warranty. Did not tell them I knew what the codes were. After 1 and 1/2 days they called and said their scan finds 0 Zero codes/faults stored. Nothing.

So, I get my car and head out. I pull over about a block from the Dealer and plug in laptop. All the codes are there.

Anyone know why Dealer would not see them or CLAIM to not see them?

Say you scanned it yourself with inpa and you found those codes. Simple as that!

I'd ask them how it is that you can read them, but they can't.

Say they need to fire the engineer in charge with scanning ECUs
Or they need to close down the shop and maybe try something else, like selling potatoes, it should be easier

If the SEL light is on, there IS a code. At least a OBD code...

they should also be logged as well even if you cleared them prior.

When my car has thrown a code I always tell them when I take it in.
I took my car in for HPFP, with codes listed.
Bad injectors, with codes listed.
Bad vanos solenoids, with codes listed.

They confirmed and fixed all of the above at different times and also looked for related issues and fixed those too.

Why play games, give them the codes you read so they know what you saw?

Sorry to hear.

I usually tell my SA exactly what the code is. He even ask me at times if I knew the code. A few times they ask how I got it and i just tell them I have a code reader.

I deal with on SA so he knows me well now.
