Garthbo, nice looking wagon Is it imported? or did you order it thru the dealer? How much do they go for there? If you don't mind my asking. I wish they release the RWD version here soon, if ever. Not too keen on AWD. Anyway, congrats on the car

e91 touring
Thanks Red_wagen. The wagon is my dads. It was a special order made through BMW Philippines and not the dealer. Dealers have not brought in a wagon yet. I was also suppose to order one with him but cancelled it and bought an e60 instead. THe e91 cost him around US$53k

Hi there fellow pinoys.
My wife is the one who owns the e90. Well, I got it for her so I can fix it up. It's a 320i, like most e90s in the Philippines. Ditched the rough ride run flats for 18 inch wheels and now has a HARTGE front lip. |

how much did you shell out for the hartge front lip? is there are local supplier, or did you source it offshore? i just had my car upgraded with chrome window trim/grill and i had the sharkfin installed while i was at it.. planned upgrades are HIDs, 18" rims (probably 162s or 195s) and the hartge front lip.. pardon the poor phone cam pic quality

Nice Andy, I want to upgrade to chrome trim as well. By the way, we have the same color car. Let me know how you plan to go HID. The retrofit kit at Prestige costs 100,000 pesos (2,000 USD for our American friends)
PMed you regarding the lip |

yup, when i asked prestige for the pricing last week it was more like P150,000 (~US$3000) for the HID (non-active) and P250,000 (US$ 5,000) for active ones. i plan to go the non-active route and just gather enough cash (and enough irrational modder's reasoning) to get them, perhaps in a few months. wheel upgrades will cost a whopping P400,000 (US$ 8,000) for 162s if i buy the tires from prestige but i'll be able to save half that amount if i could get them from bridgestone directly. trouble is, i checked and bridgestone currently does not sell 225/40 R18 runflats (i'm too chicken to go out of spec and get non-runflats haha). it's all good, i'm thinking i'll have enough time to save up while waiting for them to start offering the tires.. can you post a pic of your ride? i'm curious about your rims!

Thanks G8Btech. Looks like more and more Pinoys are joining in this thread. Prices here are really exhorbitant. That's why we rarely see here e90 325s and 330s. Imagine, Php400k for the 162s
Hey, if anyone's interested, there's a BMW fun run this sunday. Meeting place is at 6:45am Petron SLEX. We drive up to tagaytay for a quick breakfast and head back. I think this is a good opportunity for you guys to meet the members and join the BMW Club Phil. |

Oh and I put ROTA Formula wheels (mesh type BBS RE replicas) on Bridgestone S-03s 225 45 18 and 245 40 18 rear. It's a little oversize but it makes the fenders look full without lowering. |

let me correct my earlier post.. the guy at prestige told me it would cost about PhP400k for the lot, but when I did the math myself based on the prices i saw in his little computer, it was more like Php300,000. The 162s cost about PhP35k each (rear rims cost a little more than the front ones), and OEM bridgestone runflats cost about Php40k each in prestige. of course, prestige bases their prices on the current exchange rate, shipping costs and alignment of the stars so the prices fluctuate frequently. by comparison, prices listed in bmwwheels.com: http://bmwwheels.com/bmwwheels_detai...162&Series=E90 shows that 162s cost $328.. that's PhP16728, about half the price here! (don't be mislead by the "w/ runflat" line though.. i emailed them to ask and the price is for the rim only) anyone out there who knows a way to ship the wheels here in a cost-effective manner?

Just get your tires from Bridgestone tire center at the fort. They usually have the hard to find stuff. When I got my tires, they were offering me 18 inch RE050 run flats but opted for the non run flats cause of the much better ride. My 18 S-03 Bridgestone is even more comfortable than the 16 Continental run flats. For special size like our BMWs, just talk to Stephen Tagle directly. |

you may want to double check with FOREX or those balikbayan shippers, bcoz Customs got strick rules on shipping dry goods only in those boxes. Not to sure if alloys are considered dry goods.
I know PCs, and laptops or Cameras were not permitted, and if caught, you take the chance to confiscated. I just thought I throw a curve ball, just to be sure!
