Front sway bar link clunk with lowering springs

Hello all,
I installed a set of ST shock absorbers which included lowering springs. Also changed tension strut bushings to the M version. Immediately, I noticed a clunk/knock that's present when going over small bumps (i.e. on a gravel road).

I have seen a few posts concerning this question. Is that common? The car is lowered <30mm (<1.2") at the front. Given that the sway bar is not fixed to the bushings or mounting brackets, this ride height alteration changed sway bar's angle and in turn applied torque, but that should not translate into a clunk right away. Are longer end links required for such lowering?

Bump. I've read mix responses for this question and I'm curious my self. I want to upgrade to the Bilstein B14 kit which has adjustable ride height. I don't want any clunking after install.

my eibach swaybar just taps the m3 arm ride height arm bracket with b14 @ almost stock msport ride height, very minor in my case and not enough for me to worry. i just go over speed bumps slower

This does not really apply as I have halogen headlights, i.e. no such arm if I understand correctly.
